About

Ryan Anthony Ayd (28) was born January 8, 1994 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to parents Luke and Deborah. His mother acted as a child and is best known for her role as “Nancy” in 1981’s The Day The Loving Stopped.
Ryan began acting at a very young age, stealing his mothers camcorder to make videos or convincing the neighborhood children to play characters in his stories. As a teenager, he competed in local and national Fine Arts competitions for public speaking, choir, small ensemble and stage performances earning him several awards in 2010. In 2012, Ryan was ordained as a minister and he would spend the next 8 years pursuing a career in full-time ministry. In 2017, he married his wife Brianna and that same year took on his first professional role as “Timothy Green” in a musical/play titled: In Three Days. It wasn’t until 2018 that Ryan stepped onto his first film set as an extra in the Disney+ film “Stargirl.” Over the next two years, he would do background and stand-in work for several TV shows and movies including Roswell, Daybreak, Perpetual Grace, Interrogation, Army of the Dead and Project Blue Book. In 2018, Ryan attended his first film audition for the lead role in a short titled APHASIA. His performance earned him Honorable Mention for Best Actor in the LA’s 2019 Independent Shorts Awards. He spent the next three years working as a character actor for a local, family entertainment center called Escape In Time. Ryan and his wife Brianna gave birth to a daughter in March of 2022. Most recently, Ryan was cast as the lead, “Adam” in a short film titled KAIROS which won Best Film at the Albuquerque 48 Hour Film Project 2022.
